To be a College Corps member, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Be enrolled at the University of Minnesota, University of St. Thomas, or Hamline University
- Have the appropriate type of work-study funds allotted to you for the current school year
- Hamline University: 6450 funds (you must be a Minnesota resident)
- University of St. Thomas: state work-study funds (you must be a Minnesota resident)
- University of Minnesota: federal/state work-study funds
- Have experience working with children and youth
- Have willingness and experience working with diverse groups of students
- Be able to commit to at least two after-school shifts/week (programs do not run on Fridays)
- Spanish or Hmong language skills a plus
- Be able to pass a background check
