Holding higher education institutions accountable for performance outcomes has gained importance at the state and national levels.


Minnesota Measures: 2015 Report on Higher Education Performance provides a resource of accurate, timely and comprehensive facts about higher education in Minnesota. It includes comparisons over time as well as national and peer institution comparisons. Data on students' higher education journey are shown in three stages: preparing for and entering college, during college and outcomes of college.

Past Reports

Federal Government Higher Education Accountability Effort

College Scorecards prepared by the U.S. Department of Education's College Affordability and Transparency Center provides data about a college's affordability and value. Each Scorecard includes five key pieces of data about a college: costs, graduation rate, loan default rate, average amount borrowed, and employment.

See also the College Affordability and Transparency Center (CATC). CATC provides information to student and parent consumers about college costs and other indicators of college outcome measures.
