If you're a hands-on self-starter looking for a project to helm and interested in getting involved with the Twin Cities arts and cultural scene, this is the role for you. L'étoile magazine is an independent online publication that is a strong, trusted brand that has been based in the Twin Cities for the past nine years. After re-launching from a blog format to an online magazine format in early 2012, we are looking to add the new position of Section Editor for the Weekend What's What event guide. This is a great position if you're looking to get on-the-job experience as an editor, proofreader and project manager. This position includes curating the Weekend What's What event guide, assigning event spotlights to an editorial staff of 12; formatting content using WordPress, and some social media. What you get in return? The chance to spotlight your interests, showcase your talents on a widely-read, reputable Twin Cities media site, and a great resume and reference builder.
