Scholarships Offered By Minnesota Institutions

Below are some of the scholarships offered by the college you selected.

Inclusion and Diversity Academic Scholarship

This $2,000 award is available to incoming first-year students with a composite score of 24 or above on the ACT or a 3.00 high school GPA and ranking in the 50th percentile of their graduating class. The scholarship is renewable for three years if the student maintains a 3.00 GPA each semester. Applicants must submit one letter of recommendation from a high school teacher or counselor along with a typed autobiographical essay. Students who receive the Inclusion and Diversity Academic Scholarship are required to participate in the mentor program. To get more information contact the Inclusion & Diversity Office.

Award Amount: $350 - $2,000
Renewable? Yes, for three years if the student maintains a 3.00 GPA each semester.

Academic Awards

Awarded to students in the top 20 percent of graduating class and a minimum composite ACT score of 21 for $300, top 50 percent of graduating class and minimum composite ACT score of 24 for $300, or top 20 percent and a minimum composite ACT score of 24 for $500. Must be Minnesota or Wisconsin resident.

Outstanding Academic Honors Award

Awarded to students in the top 5 percent of graduating class with a minimum composite ACT score of 32.

Presidential Honor Scholarships

Available to students in the top 5 percent of graduating class with a minimum composite ACT score of 28, top 10 percent of graduating class with a minimum composite ACT score of 27, Top 15 percent of graduating class with a minimum composite ACT score of 26, top 50 percent with a minimum composite ACT of 28 and first or second in graduating class with a minimum cmposite ACT score of 21.

Award Amount: $2,500 for top 5 percent with an ACT of 28, $1,500 for top 10 percent with an ACT of 27, $1,000 for top 15 percent with an ACT of 26, $1,000 for top 50 percent with an ACT of 28, $1,000 for 1st or 2nd in graduating class with an ACT of 21
