Dual Credit and Exam-Based Credit

 

The Dual Credit and Exam-Based Credit priority is focused on the following efforts:

• Expanding access to college credit while in high school
• Providing a robust set of disaggregated data on dual credit access and success
• Expanding the pool of eligible educators and providing space for greater collaboration among high school educators and college faculty
• Expanding communications about the value of earning college credit while in high school, as well as the multiple, high-quality options available

Leadership

This committee is co-led by Eric Billiet (High School Initiatives Supervisor, Minnesota Department of Education) and Jessica Espinosa (Director of College Transitions, Minnesota State Colleges and Universities). Stephanie Graff (Deputy Commissioner, Minnesota Department of Education) serves as the Executive Committee liaison to this committee.
