Goals

The goal of Scrubs Camp is to encourage student exploration into the healthcare sector. This is accomplished through the following objectives: • The student will learn educational pathways towards multiple career fields in health care. • The student will learn career pathways and advancement opportunities towards multiple career fields in healthcare.

Activities

Scrubs Camp is a healthcare career immersion program where students explore various aspects of healthcare and the careers that exist within. The goal of Scrubs Camp is to get students excited and interested in pursuing a career in healthcare and to go back home motivated and focused on what they can do in middle and high school to prepare for that potential career. During this three-day camp, students get to interact directly with many working professionals in a variety of healthcare professions, get a tour and experience what it might be like to work in a particular area of healthcare. End result: The Camp is always fun, always engaging, and always gets students thinking about their future!
