2024 Request for Proposal Writing Workshop

The Office of Higher Education hosted a detailed workshop for completing the 2024 Dual Training Grant Request for Proposal. The workshop was designed to walk applicants step-by-step through the proposal process.

2023 Dual Trainee Welcome Session

The Minnesota Office of Higher Education and Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry welcomed dual trainees to the upcoming grant period of the Minnesota Dual Training Grant. Four dual trainees, who have or are near graduation, shared their experiences about the dual-training model and grant. The dual trainees represented the following grantees: CentraCare Health System, Children’s Minnesota and MRG Tool and Die.

Grant Reimbursement

The Minnesota Office of Higher Education partnered with Community Dental Care to demonstrate the setup, submission and approval procedures for receiving reimbursement from the Dual Training Grant. Community Dental Care demonstrated the steps taken to setup billing with training providers, collect documents from dual trainees, organize documents for internal review, and create a reimbursement packet for submission to the grant. The Office of Higher Education showed how the reimbursement packet is reviewed, follow-up items are requested and reimbursement approval is communicated.
