AAAOM graduated its last students as of April 26, 2021.  Any credentials issued after the close date are invalid.

American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM):

On February 21, 2020, the Minnesota Office of Higher Education (OHE) issued a revocation order to AAAOM as a result an investigation of AAAOM's Chinese Tuina Massage Program that constituted a failure of administration of the school. Due to the serious nature of the issues with the Tuina program, the entire school and all programs were subject to the revocation order.

On June 3, 2020, AAAOM and OHE entered into a consent decree that outlined a timeline for the school to close or enter into new ownership by February 19, 2021 unless extended by OHE. The order confirms AAAOM may continue to offer program the Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and the Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine through February 19, 2021 on a conditional basis in the interest of allowing current students to complete the program or transfer to a new institution/teach-out partner.
